ARCHIBALD, J. Gordon Passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Lorraine Archibald (nee Doering) for 59 years. Loving father of Don (Kathy), Dave and Steve. Cherished grand- father of Jennifer and Annika. Dear brother of Thelma Talbot. Survived by sisters-in-law Doris and Ruby and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Robert and Lloyd. Gordon's family will receive relatives and friends from 1 p.m. - 2: 45 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home immediately following the visitation, at 3 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
