Dr. Eugene C. Winter
PRESTON - Funeral mass was conducted today at 10 a.m., at St. Ambrose RC Church in Galt, for Dr. Eugene C. Winter, of 401 Laurel St. Preston. Dr. Winter died at his residence on Friday. He was 69. Born in Seeg, Germany, he moved to Montreal in 1951 and in 1954 to Preston, where he had his medical practice since. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church in Galt. Surviving are his wife, the former Maryanne Binder and one son, Dr. Eric H. J. Winter of Preston; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral arrangements were by Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Preston. Interment was in Preston cemetery.
