At the Maples Nursing Home, Tavistock, on Sunday, July 27, 1975, William Herlick, Tavistock, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Ardena Kenyon. Dear father of Stuart, Shakespeare; Harold, Kitchener; Jack, Tavistock: Mrs. Edward (Doris)Steinacker, Mrs. C. Peter (Myrtle) Steinacker, Mrs. Harold (Lyla) Wilhelm, all of Tavistock: Mrs. John (Vida Mae) Innis, Embro and Mrs. Mervin (Beatrice) Foster, Toronto: dear brother of Edward Herlick, Tavistock; Mrs. John (Lydia) Pfaff, Kitchener and Mrs. Addison (Lillian) Foell, Waterloo. Also survived by 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

HERLICK; Mrs. William

Mrs. William Herlick, 85, a resident of the Maples Home for Seniors in Tavistock passed away in the Stratford General Hospital Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1986. The former Ardena Kenyon, she was born at Washington, Ont. Nov. 5, 1900, a daughter of the late Henry Kenyon and former Lydia Saucier. Mrs. Herlick was married at Plattsville to William Herlick Dec. 22, 1920. Following their marriage, the couple resided in South Easthope Township for 40 years, until retiring to Tavistock in 1960. Mrs. Herlick was a member of Grace United Church, Tavistock and was active in senior citizens activities of the community. She was a former member of Athlone Women's Institute. She was predeceased by her husband William July 27, 1975, Surviving are sons Stuart and wife Dorothy of Shakespeare, Harold and wife Ruth of Kitchener and Jack and wife Audrey of Tavistock; daughters Doris and husband Ed Steinacker and Mrs. Peter (Myrtle) Steinacker, all of Tavistock; Lyla and husband Harry Wilhelm of RR 2, Tavistock; Vida Mae and husband John Innes of RR 2, Embro and Beatrice and husband Mervin Foster of RR 4, Woodstock; sisters Mrs. Frank (Clara Brunk) Richter of Kitchener; Mrs. Lloyd (Fannie) Schragg of Cambridge and Mrs, Eric (Ethel) White of St. Marys; 27 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one granddaughter, three brothers and four sisters. Friends were received in the Francis Funeral Home Tavistock, until transfer was made to Grace United Church, Tavistock where a funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Norman Morton officiating. Interment was in Grace United Cemetery.
