Of 1230 Duke St., Cambridge (P), at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Friday. June 1, 1979, in her 77th year, Vera Smith. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Claine, dear mother of George Goddard of Sussex, N.B., Gerald Goddard of Cambridge, William Claine and Vera (Mrs. Leonard Beckett) of Cambridge. Mrs. Claine was born in Penobsquis, N.B., a resident of Cambridge since 1944. Mrs, Claine was predeceased by her first husband, Irvin Goddard in 1931 and her second husband Ernest Claine in 1947. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, for funeral services Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment in Preston cemetery.
