    NICHOLAS ZAWOLOSKI

    PRESTON. Sept. 24 - Illness of nine month's duration culminated in the death early today of Nicholas Zawoloski, 40, Preston resident for the past 29 years. Mr. Zawoloski was born in Monastyryska, East Galicia, western Ukrania and came to Canada from Austria, about 30 years ago. He lived in Vancouver for a few months before coming to Preston. He was employed by Clare Bros., as a stove polisher. A member of St. Clement's R.C. church, the deceased was also a member of the Ukranian Home and also the Ukranian Relief Association. Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Michael Darnowry, Toronto, a brother in Ukrania, a sister, Mrs. Adam Momotiuk, Preston. The remains will be at the home, 226 Water street, Preston, until Thursday when requiem high mass will be sung in St. Clement's R.C. church at 9 a.m. Interment will take place in the R.C. cemetery.
