    Wood, Frank Benjamin - On Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1975, at St. Mary's Hospital, Frank B. Wood, age 74 years, of Paisley, Ont., formerly of Breslau. Born in Dwight, Ont., he was employed at the Kitchener Post Office until retiring nine years ago; a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Kitchener branch 50, served for five years overseas during the Second World War; son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wood.

    Husband of Eleanor Minikowski whom he married Sept. 26, 1927; father of Frank Jr. of St. Agatha, Walter of Cambridge (Preston), Robert of Baden, Claude, Leonard and Thomas, all of Waterloo, Mrs. Ken (Lucille) Cook of Kitchener and Mrs. Jack (Eleanor) Mason of Route 2, Arthur; brother of Norman, Sydney and Alfred, all of Toronto; also survived by 31 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; predeceased by one sister.

    Wood, Eleanor G. (Ella) - Peacefully, at Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, on Monday, July 24, 1995, age 90 years.

    Loving mother of Eleanor Mason and her husband Jack of Moffat, Frank and his wife Helen, Leonard, all of Kitchener, Walter and his wife Jean of RR 32, Breslau, Claude and his wife Anne of Waterloo, Bob and his wife Jean of Baden, Tom and his wife Giselle of Palmerston. Proud grandmother of 33 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank B. Wood; a daughter, Lucille Cook; three grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.

    Mrs. Wood was retired from Kaufman Footwear Ltd. and was a member of St. Louis RC Church in Waterloo.

    The Wood family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers will be offered from the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10 am, followed by the funeral mass at St. Louis RC Church at 10:30 am, with the Rev. Robert Liddy officiating. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau.

    Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Louis RC Church, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

    The parish prayer service will be held this evening (Tuesday) at 8:30 pm at the funeral home.

    Friends and relatives are invited to the Reception Room of the funeral home following the committal service at Memory Gardens.

    MRS. W. ROGOWSKI

    Following an illness of six weeks, Mrs. Walter Rogowski, 114 Strange street, died at St. Mary's Hospital yesterday in her 66th year. The deceased was removed to the hospital last Thursday. A member of Sacred Heart church, Mrs. Rogowski has been a resident of Kitchener for the past 20 years. Surviving are her husband, one son, Jerome Minikowski of Buffalo, three daughters, Mrs. A. Lukeszewska, Mrs. S. Orlowski and Mrs. F. Wood, all of Kitchener, five brothers, John White, Frank, Leo, Adam and William, all of Kitchener, two sisters, Mrs. John Rogowski and Mrs. Charles Kalpin, both of Kitchener; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning from the late residence to Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.

    Celebrated 50th Anniversasy of Marriage

    Mr. and Mrs. Joseph White of this city celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding on February 7. The occasion was obverved in the Sacred Heart Church by the singing of a solemn high mass the renewal of their marriage vows of half a century ago. The service was conducted by the Rev. Father Rogulski. Immediately following the mass, while they were kneeling at the alter they were presented with a gold-headed cane representing the staff of Aaron, and were given a bouquet of roses and a symbolic cross. After the service a reception was held at the Strange street home, and was attended by their many relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. White have 9 children, 30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. White is 70 years of age, while his wife is aged 68 years. They cam to this city from Poland in 1880.

    Joseph White - There passed away this morning in his 75th year Joseph White, 98 Strange Street. The late Mr. White had been in his usual good health until about six o'clock this morning when he was taken suddenly ill and he passed away by nine o'clock. He was an employee of the Rumpel Felt Company. Mr. White was a resident of this city for the past 45 years during which time he made many acquaintances. His death will be a giant shock to all who knew him. Surviving are his sorrowing wife, five sons and three daughters. They are: John, Frank, Leo, Adam and William all of this city, Mrs. Walter Rogowski, Mrs. John Rogowski, and Mrs. Charles Kaplin, all of this city. Two brothers, Frank and Michael of Kitchener and two sisters, Mrs. F. Lemanski, and Mrs. E. Lemanski of this city, also survive. The funeral will be held at the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial in the RC Cemetery.
