    Schaefer, Frieda Olive (nee Wagner) - On Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Frieda Schaefer, of Kitchener, age 83 years. Frieda was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Kitchener and was an employee of A.R. Kaufman for 40 years until her retirement in 1981. Loving mother of Bernice and her husband Ray Self of Kitchener and Bruce and his wife Paula of North Vancouver, B.C. Frieda will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren, Heather Gillespie, Trevor Exner, Debra Ann Plezer, Timothy, Kelly and Michael Schaefer and her great-granddaughter, Cassandra; dear sister of Edna Grube, Dora Colpitts and Herb Wagner. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Carl in 1993; her five sisters, Lillian, Alvina, Louise, Christina and Alice and her two brothers, Alfred and Herman. Relatives and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Saturday) 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Transfer will be made Sunday to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 825 King St. W., Kitchener where the visitation will continue from 12: 30 pm until the complete funeral service at 1 pm, with Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall of St. Mark's.
