    Pitz, Kenneth William - Suddenly and peacefully, gone to be with his Lord, on Tuesday, April 27, 1993, at K-W Hospital, age 69 years, of Waterloo. Mr. Pitz was a retired employee of Uniroyal Ltd., where he was employed for 36 years. Beloved step-son of Elsie Pitz of Kitchener; loving husband of Evelyn Pitz; dear father of Kathy and her husband Doug Dickinson of Tavistock, Pauline and her husband Brian McPhee of Brantford, Wayne and his wife Joanne of Waterloo. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Wayne Jr., Tiffany, Sarah, Amanda, Heather and Kayla. Brother of Clifford and his wife Erma, Mel and his wife Ruth, all of Kitchener, Gerald and his wife Violet of Alberta. Step-brother of Delene and her husband Bob Snowdon of Cambridge (H) and Audrey Suchostowsky of Kitchener. Also survived by a brother-in-law, Emerson and his wife Eva Rideout of Waterloo. Predeceased by his father, Eli and his mother, Luella, step-brothers, Gord and Bill. A public memorial service will be held on Friday, April 30 at 2 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Tavistock, Rev. Bonnie Scharf officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

    Pitz, Eli - At his home, on Tuesday, May 24, 1988, in his 90th year, Eli Pitz, late of 19 Walnut Street. Beloved husband of Elsie (nee Plate), loving father to Melbourne of Kitchener, Ken of Waterloo, Gerald of High River, Alta., Clifford of Kitchener, Phyllis (Mrs. Jerome Taggart) of Vernon, B.C., Deline (Mrs. Robert Snowdon) of Cambridge and Audrey (Mrs. Ronald Suchostawsky) of Kitchener. He will be dearly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters, Clara Schauber of St. Jacobs, Frieda Hill of Detroit, Mich. and Irene Ricker of St. Jacobs. He is predeceased by his first wife, Luella Westfall; sons, Gordon and William; brother, Dalton Pitz; sister, Dora Riley; and parents, William and Angelina Pitz. Mr. Pitz was born in Broadhagen, Ont.; was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Golden Hour and was a retired employee of Uniroyal after 38 years. There is to be no visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral home and Chapel. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 28, 1988, at 1 pm, in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Chapel. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Golden Hour, 54 Benton St., Kitchener, N2G 3H2, would be appreciated by the family. Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.

    WILLIAM PITZ - William Pitz, 97 Courtland Avenue East, fireman at Joseph E. Seagram distillery for 15 year prior to his retirement five years ago, died last night at his home in his 69th year. Mr. Pitz was born In Hessen, Germany, and came to this country in 1882 at the age of 16 years. He attended St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, nee Angeline Rapier, two sons, Eli of Kitchener, Dalton of Atwood, and four daughters, Mrs. Elgin Hahn, Mrs. A. D. Riley, both of Kitchener, Mrs. Frank Hill, Detroit, and Miss Irene, city, as well as 12 grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon from Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home at II o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. The remains will be resting at the funeral home until Friday noon when they will be taken to the residence of his daughter, Mrs. A. D. Riley., 96 Shanley Street, to rest there until Saturday noon and then taken to the funeral home for the service.

    HENRY WESTFALL

    Henry Westfall died before his could say word to his wife who was nearby

    While weighing goods to take to the local market, Henry Westfall who resided on the Guelph road near Breslau, died very suddenly this morning at 3:20 o'clock.

    Deceased who was in his 65th year, had arisen early and, assisted by his wife, was weighing sausage in his kitchen when without warning he fell to the floor and expired without speaking a word.

    Dr. Ratz of this city was called but life was extinct when he arrived.

    He gave the cause of death as heart failure.

    An inquest in to the death will not beheld according to a decision of the coroner.

    Deceased who was born in West Montrose, had lived in this district for 28 years.

    According to his wife, he had never been in better health than that which have had enjoyed this winter and had appeared unusually well this morning.

    Deceased was a member of Shantz Lutheran Church.

    He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Heibein, two daughters, Mrs. William (Caroline) Schmidt of Waterloo and Mrs. Eli (Luella) Pitz of Bridgeport.

    The funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from his late residence to the Breslau cemetery.
