All the men were more or less injured. It is needless to add all was done that was possible to do to relieve the injured men, In a few minutes hundreds of willing hands were engaged removing the debris from above the men, who fell with the timbers and lay buried beneath the same, and as one by one were extricated from their pinned position received kind attention in the way of washing the blood from their wounds and placed in some adjoining house or taken to their respective homes. Hespeler Correspondence.

    BURIAL OF MR. SACHS.
On Friday afternoon last the funeral of Mr. John Sachs, aged fifty-two years, took place from his late residence to the Hespeler cemetery. The funeral was conducted by the Ancient Order of United Workmen, the member of said Society turning out in large numbers, and presenting a fine appearance, dressed neatly in dark colored clothes, wearing white gloves and the regular A. O. U. W. badge. Many of the brethren were from distant places; among the number we noticed some from Galt, Guelph, Morriston, Weston and Preston. In addition to the society all the employees of the Star Mills, male and and female, marched, also many of the villagers as well as a large number from a distance. There were sixty-four single carriages and twenty three double carriages in the line of procession. Among the number was the carriage of the firm, for whom the deceased had worked for so many years, the occupants thereof being Mr. Robert Forbes and son George. The procession was twenty minutes passing a given point. Rev. Mr. Haigh officiated at the house previous to conveying the remains of the deceased there from, and the Rev. pastor of the Lutheran church conducted the services at the grave. The funeral sermon was preached in the Lutheran church, of which deceased was a staunch adherent, by the pastor, on Sunday evening last, a large congregation attending.
