    Frederick J. Nash

    PRESTON, Frederick J. Nash, 229 Church St., died Wednesday, at Westminster Hospital, London, Ont. He was 87. Mr. Nash was born in Leight-on-Buzzard, England. He came from England to Paisley, then to Preston, in 1946. He was retired from the Canadian Office and School Furniture, Ltd. Mr. Nash served in three wars, the Boer War, First World War from 1914-1918 in the British Army and the Second World War, with the veterans guard. He was a charter member of the Paisley branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and a life member of Preston legion branch. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Ellen King, in 1952. Surviving are one son, Fred, of Preston, one brother and two sisters, all in England, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted Saturday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Park lawn cemetery.
