Bruce W. Brobst

PRESTON - Bruce W. Brobst, 38, well-known Preston businessman, died suddenly at the Kitchener-Waterloo hospital yesterday following an operation yesterday. Born in Toronto, where he received his education in Homewood Public School and Vaughan Road Collegiate, Mr. Brobst had been associated with Kralinator industrial concern in that city. He came to Preston 12 years ago with the expanding concern and was vice-president at the time of his death. A member of St. Paul's United Church, Mr. Brobst was also a former member of the Preston Kinsmen Club [rest of obituary was not photocopied]

BRUCE BROBST

Bruce Brobst of 126 Third Ave., Cambridge (Preston) died Friday, Dec. 28 at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He was 84. Mr. Brobst is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Williamson; one son Kenneth J. of Cambridge (Preston); one daughter, Esther V. of Cambridge (Preston); one sister, Mrs. Lia Goeppinger of Warren; one brother, Carl K. of Toronto; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by one son, Bruce, in 1952, and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Edith) Fouse.
Interment was at Park Lawn Cemetery.

Of 400 Champlain Blvd., Cambridge, on Friday, May 22, 1987, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 102nd year, Lillian M. Williamson. Beloved wife of the late Bruce K. Brobst. Dear mother of Esther V. and Kenneth and his wife Doris, both of Cambridge; dear twin sister of Mrs. Adda Williams of Lakeland, Fla. Also surviving are three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, Bruce W. Mrs. Brobst was born in Ohio, U.S.A. and came to Cambridge in 1941, from Toronto. A member of St. Paul's United Church. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Cambridge, Saturday (today), 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Sunday, May 24, at 4: 30 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
