    HOLM, DANIEL

One by one, the pioneers of the district are passing away. On Wednesday morning, September 9, 1925, one of the oldest native sons of the district passed to his reward. Mr. Holm was born on lot 6, concession 3 of Puslinch Township over 87 years ago, his father Neil Holm having settled on this farm a few years before, coming from the county of York. He was twice married, his first wife also a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Panabaker. Nine years ago, he retired from the farm on which he was born and made his home with his son, Walter. A man of quiet habits, he took no part in municipal life. He was a good neighbour and respected by all who knew him.
