    At K-W Hospital, on Thursday, July 12, 1990, Wilf Otterbein, of Limerick Drive, Kitchener, aged 66 years. Wilf was a longtime employee of Canadian (CPR) Railways, before retirement. He was also a member of Christ The King United Church. Dear father of Tom and his wife Penny of Kitchener, Daniel and his wife Valerie of Whitehorse, Yukon, Debbie and her husband Jim Fodor of Kitchener, Jennifer and her husband Terry Jones of Cambridge (G). Loving grandfather of Chris Otterbem, Jason and Cheryl Otterbein, Joshua Forler and Matthew Jones. Dear brother of Ella Barclay and Dorothy Zimmerman, both of Cambridge and Harry Otterbem of Acton. Dearly loved friend of Jean Buffham and her family. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Bess in 1983. At the request of the deceased, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Christ The King United Church, 167 Thaler Ave., Kitchener, on Saturday, July 14, at 2 p.m., with Rev. William Hines, officiating.

    PRESTON, Abraham Otterbein, 73, of 362 Kitchener Rd., died today at his home. Mr. Otterbein was born near Dashwood. He lived in Preston for over 50 years and was a motorman on the Grand River Railway, until retiring eight years ago. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. His wife the former Florence Voegtle, died in 1960. Surviving are two sons, Harry of Acton and Wilfred of RR 1, Preston: two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ella) Dawson of Preston and Mrs. Gordon (Dorothy) Zimmerman of Galt: 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where the funeral will he conducted at 2;30 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn, cemetery.

    PRESTON, Mrs. Abe Otterbein 65, of 362 Kitchener Road, Preston, died today at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, where she was confined for one day. Mrs. Otterbein was the former Florence Voegtle. She was born at New Hamburg and had resided in Preston for 44 years. Prior to that she had lived in Kitchener. She was a member of the United Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Harry of Acton and Wilfred of Preston; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Dorothy) Zimmerman of Galt and Mrs. Ella Dawson of Preston; one brother, Melvin of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Scriver of Kitchener and Mrs. Clayton (Nettie) Dahmer of Orillia and 11 grandchildren. One brother and one sister predeceased her. The body will be at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted, Monday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Park Lawn Cemetery. Rev A. I. Waters of St. Paul's United Church, will officiate.

    MRS. OLIVER VOEGTLE - There departed this life Thursday afternoon, Ella Freeman, wife of Mr. Oliver Voeglte 24 East Courtland Avenue. at the age of 74 years, she having passed her last birthday on December 28th. Her death followed an illness of seven months. Surviving her are the husband and four daughters and two sons who are; Mrs. Irvin Goetz of Preston, Mrs Abraham Otterbien city, Mrs. Clayton Dahlmer city, Norman, Melvin and Violet all at home. There are four grandchildren and also three brothers and one sister of the deceased. The brothers and sisters are Mr. William Freeman city; Andrew Conestoga, Joseph wellesly; and Mrs. George Putter of Brether City, Manitoba, who has been in the city on a six week visit. The late Mrs. Voeglte has resided in the city 13 years coming here from New Hamburg. She was born in Conestoga. The deceased was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. The funeral will be held at 2: 30 p.m. Sunday Afternoon from the home to Mount Hope Cemetery where interment will be made.

    On Thursday afternoon last, Ella Freeman, wife of Oliver Voegtle, passed away at her home in Kitchener at the age of 47 years. Her death followed an illness of seven months.

    Surviving her are her husband and four daughters and two sons: Mrs. Irvin Goetz, of Preston; Mrs. Abram Otterbein, Mrs. Clayton Dahmer, Norman, Melvin and Violet, all of Kitchener. Besides she leaves four grandchildren and, also three brothers and one sister.

    The late Mrs. Voegtle resided in New Hamburg for a number of years and was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friend. The family removed to Kitchener from here about 13 years ago.

    The deceased was born in Conestogo and in religion was a faithful Methodist. The funeral look place on Sunday afternoon to Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener.

    Be it known that on the tenth day of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty seven Letters of Administration of all and singular the real and personal estate effects rights and credits of John Voegtle late of the village of Linwood in the County of Waterloo, Weaver who died on or about the third day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty seven, in the village of Linwood aforesaid intestate, and who had at the time of his death a fixed place of abode at the village of Linwood in the said County of Waterloo were granted by Her Majesty's Surrogate Court of the County of Waterloo to Rachel Heinbuch of the Village of Linwood in the said County of Waterloo, Married Woman, the second eldest daughter of the said intestate, she having been first sworn faithfully to administer the same by paying his just debts and distributing the residue (if any) of the real and personal estate and affects according to law and to exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said real and personal estate and affects, rights and credits and to render a just and true account thereof whenever required by law.
