    NICHOLLS, Florence

    Of Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Friday, May 27, 1994, at her residence in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Nicholls (1983), dear mother of Donald and his wife Nancy of Paris, Gerald of Cambridge and William and his wife Mary of Kitchener. Also survived by 1 sister, Lillian Hornburg of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 sisters, Glady and Elsie and 2 brothers, Arthur and Bill. Florence was born in England and has been a resident of Cambridge, since 1922. She was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Cambridge. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Sunday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the Funeral Home, on Monday, May 30, 1994, at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Beth Bower officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes, in Preston Cemetery.

    Mrs. Lena Twining

    PRESTON, Mrs. Lena Twining, 81, of 627 Hespeler St., died today at Fairview Mennonite Nursing Home, Preston. Mrs. Twining was born in England and had lived in Preston, for 45 years. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and the Ladies Auxiliary to the Canadian Legion. The former Lena Martin, she was predeceased by her husband, 27 years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. William Collins of London, Mrs. Harry Nichols of Preston, Mrs. George Loker of Galt and Mrs. William Hornburg of Kitchener; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Arthur and William. The body is at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted, Friday, at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery. Rev. R. T. Appleyard will officiate.
