    WILKES, Marion Alice (nee Seip)

    Passed away peacefully, with family and friends by her side, at Lisaard House, on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Beloved wife of Jim Wilkes. Loving sister of Ron Seip (Diane) of Kitchener. Much loved Mum of Megan Wilkes (Rich), Amy Lightfoot (Eric) and Elizabeth Wilkes. Doting and caring Gramma of Alexander, Madison, Quinlan and Rebekah, all of Hespeler. Marion will be sadly missed by Kathy Clegg (Wilf) and many of her close family, friends and pets. Marion was a life time and active member of Saint John’s Anglican Church, a member of the OES Chapter 208 and the Addison Women’s Choir. Friends are invited to celebrate Marion’s life, at a memorial service to be held at Saint John’s Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Preston, at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2009. Memorial visitation 1 hour prior.

    Of 194 Weber St., Cambridge, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1981, at K-W Hospital, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Alice Gnmwood; dear father of Ronald and Marion (Mrs. James Wilkes) of Cambridge. Also survived by two grandchildren, Megan and Amy Wilkes; a brother, Irvin of Waterloo. Predeceased by a brother, Earl of Toronto. Mr. Seip was born in Kitchener and had been a resident of Cambndge, for 55 years; retired from Eastern Steel, a member of St. John's Anglican Church; Preston Masonic Lodge; Royal City Lodge of Perfection; Guelph Chapter of Rose Croix; Moore Sovereign Consistatory of Hamilton; past patron of Preston Spring Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambndge, until Friday, then to St. John's Anglican Church, for funeral service at 2 p.m., interment Parklawn cemetery.

    Of Cambridge, on Friday, May 27, 2005, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 89th year. Alice Grimwood, beloved wife of the late Clarence Seip (1981). Dear mother of Ronald and his wife Diane of Kitchener and Marion Wilkes and her husband James of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by three grandchildren Megan (Rich), Amy (Eric) and Elizabeth (Karl), three step-grandchildren Sandra, Christopher and Kevin, four great-grandchildren, Alexander, Madison, Quinlan and Rebekah. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Florence Grimwood, three brothers Edward (Ted), Charles and Walter and one nephew David. Mrs. Seip was born in Preston and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a lifelong member of Saint John's Anglican Church, a life member of the Preston Springs Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 208, PDDGM, No. 20, 75 year member of the Alter Guild of Saint John's Anglican Church and a 60 years member of the Choir, retiring in 2000. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Saint John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday, May 30, 2005, at 11 a.m., with Canon David Bowyer officiating, interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.

    Of the Eventide Home, Cambridge (Galt), at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Cambridge (Galt), Sunday, Sept. 22, 1974, Florence Bradfield, beloved wife of the late Charles Grimwood, dear mother of Edward (Ted) of Jerseyville, Charles of Cambridge (Preston), Walter of Route 6, Cambridge (Galt), and Alice (Mrs. Clarence Seip) of Cambridge (Hespeler), in her 88th year. Mrs. Grimwood was born in Grantham, England and had lived in Cambridge (Preston), since 1914; a member of St. John's Anglican Church and the Daughters of England; Mrs. Grimwood is also survived by one sister, Emma Caskenette of Tillsonburg, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner of Queen and Argyle Streets, Cambridge (Preston), until noon Wednesday. Funeral service in St. John's Anglican Church, at 2 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
