Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the age of 56. Loving and devoted wife of Joaquim. Cherished mother of Marco (Natasha) and Angelica Braganca (Andy), and doting grandmother of Sofia, Luciano and Ethan. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings; David Goncalves (Fatima), Fernando Goncalves (Brooke) and Anabela Silva (Patrick) and by nieces and nephews; the late Helen, Jacqueline, Filipe, Joao, Noah, Roman, Bernardo and Mafalda. Marina was an active and important member of the Portuguese Club of Cambridge, for 16 years, 8 of those years as acting president. She was a dedicated force in the Cambridge and Portuguese community and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street North, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2017, from 5-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at St. Clement’s RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, on Monday, January 23, 2017, at 10 am. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
