Born in Pico, Azores, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at the age of 85. Loving wife of Manuel and dear mother of Humberto (Fatima) and Armando (Odette). Beloved grandmother of lldberta, Vera, Maria Humberta (Durando), Lizette (Humberto) and Joe. Dear great-grandmother of five great-grandchildren. Dear sister of two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Serpa was predeceased by five brothers. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Thursday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Rosary to be prayed at the funeral home on Thursday evening, at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin Street South, on Friday, November 17, 2006, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
