RAPOSO, Maria Andrade
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, January 6, 2011, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Manuel Jorge Raposo. Loving mother of Jose of Portugal, Nelia and husband Ronald, Gracinda and Elisabete and husband Derek, all of Cambridge. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Maria will be remembered by her brothers; Jose and Antonio and wife Espirto Santo of Portugal and her sister, Adelina and husband Bernardino of Cambridge. Predeceased by her parents Jose and Maria Figueiredo, her son Manuel, brother Manuel and her sisters Ines and Helena. Visitation was held on Friday, January 7, from 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, was held on Saturday, January 8, at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke St. Cambridge, at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Park Lawn Cemetery.
