Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the age of 76. Loving husband of Maria Resendes (nee Fontes). Cherished father of Fatima Hawkshaw (Jerry), Joe Resendes (Sherry), Liberal Resendes and Nelson Resendes (Marina). Special grandfather of Jerry, Robert, Josh, Alyssa and great-granddaughter Justice. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin Street South, Cambridge, on Friday, July 13, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
