    LOGAN, Edward Charles

    It is with great sadness, we announce that Charles Logan has peacefully, passed away, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on July 12, 2009. Beloved husband of Hazel. Father of Terry Logan and Darlene Lubrick (Roy) of Cambridge, step-son, Rick Cline (Shirley) of Calgary, Alberta. Special Papa to Jim Hogg, (Shelley) and Tara Finzgar (Christian). Great-Papa to Waverli, Quin, Kaya and Logan. He was predeceased by his mother, father, two brothers and a step-son. Charlie served in the Second World War overseas and was a longtime member of the Cambridge Royal Canadian Legion Branch 121. For many years, he was employed at Joy Manufacturing. Later he was employed at Inglis Manufacturing until his retirement. Many will remember him at the Galt market where he served for many years as a vendor with his wife, Hazel. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 3 p.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
