ELLIS, John Bateman
Of 246 Fountain St., Cambridge, on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1981, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 79th year, John Ellis, beloved husband of Winifred Langrick. Dear father of Dr. Roger Ellis of Edmonton, Alta., David of Mississauga and Dr. William Ellis of Elora. Also survived by eight grandchildren. Mr. Ellis was born in England and came to Cambridge from Renfrew, Ont., in 1955. He was the retired owner/operator of Ellis's Shoe Store, Cambridge and a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Cambridge. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 22, 1981, at St. John's Anglican Church, Cambridge, at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Dear mother of Dr. Roger and his wife Margaret of Burlington, David and his wife Mel of Mississauga, Dr. William and his wife Patricia of Elora Also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a brother and sisters in England. Mrs. Ellis was born in England and came to Cambridge, in 1954, from Renfrew. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, tonight (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at St. John's Anglican Church, Queenston Road, Cambridge, Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
