GILLILAND, William Cecil

It is with great sadness that the family of William Cecil Gilliland announces his passing on July 15, 2014, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 78. Bill will be fondly remembered by his sons, William Jr. and Richard Gilliland, his brothers, Fred and Ernest (Sharon) Gilliland and his sister, Mary Gilliland. Bill is also survived by many friends and family members who will carry his memory in their hearts. As a truck driver, Bill travelled extensively and had made many friends along his journeys. His final journey reunites him with his wife Mary (2011) with whom he spent many loving and devoted years of marriage, as well as with his brother and sister John and Jane Gilliland. In following Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment, will be held at Parklawn Cemetery, in Cambridge.
