MEDEIROS, Zenaida

Passed away on August 25, 2004, in her 62nd year, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, with her family at her side. Zenaida, is now with her Saviour, after a courageous three year battle with cancer. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit, love and faith will always be with all those whose lives she touched. Zenaida will be greatly missed by Antonio, her husband of 45 years; by her son Eduard and his wife Norberta; by her daughter, Aida Monteiro and her husband Henry; by her cherished grandchildren Eric and Ryan Monteiro and Stephanie and Michelle Medeiros. Zenaida will also be missed by her sisters and brother, Cecilia Dinez of Boston, Francelina Correia (Simon) of Azores, Portugal, John-Antonio Braga (Anna) of Boston, as well as her sister-in-law, Fatima Raposo (Arturo) of Cambridge, all of whom came to be by her side in her last days. Zenaida, will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and her many friends. Zenaida, was predeceased by her father John Braga (1965), her mother Maria (1976) and her precious first child, Zellia (1961). Friends and relatives will be received at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin St., South, Cambridge, on Saturday, August 28, 2004, at 9 a.m., Father A. Cunha celebrant. Interment Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
