Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 79 years of age. Predeceased by parents, Francis and Helen McDonough. Beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Frank and his wife Sue. Cherished grandfather of Adam, Natasha (Kerry) Fisk and Meredith (Thomas) Herr; great-grandfather of Declan Fisk. Survived by brother, Harold and sisters, Marg (Henry) Fasquel and Brenda (Willie) Despres. Predeceased by sisters, Audrey and Georgina "Cookie". Survived by sisters-in law, Ruth (Alvin) Townsley, Eleanor (Bob) Robbins and by brother-in-law, William (Anne) Orton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 12: 00 p.m., with visitation beginning one hour prior to service time. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery.
