    COUGHLIN, Barbara Ann

    On September 11, 2009, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Barbara Ann Coughlin (Lambke), passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 62. Through her illness she fought with bravery, strength and a lot of spunk. Mother of Lisa, Trina and Stephen (Crista) Coughlin. Treasured grandmother of Zachary, Riley, Paige and Jennelle. Barb will be missed dearly by her parents, Cliffe and Marie Lambke; her sisters and brothers, Donna Bateman (Dave), Sharon Poole (Wayne), Rick Lambke (Sharon), Jerry Lambke (Chris), Linda Smith (David), Debbie (Darlene) and Judy Lambke (Jean) and all her nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for Barb on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, at 2 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to visit, from 1-2 p.m. Her family would like to thank the kind staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital Medical Day Care.

    Passed away peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, in his 90th year. Loving husband and best friend of Marie (nee Neely), his wife of 66 years. Dear father of Donna (Dave) Bateman, Sharon (Wayne) Poole, Rick (Sharon) Lambke, Jerry (Chris) Lambke, Linda (Dave) Smith, Debbie Lambke, and Judy (Jean) Lambke. He was a much loved grandfather to 20 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 24 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Barbara Coughlin. Loving brother to Harold, Grace O'Krafka, Dorothy Priebe, Mary Schwartzentruber and Howard Lambke. He was also predeceased by parents, Norman and Elsie Lambke and sisters Gladys Caron, Ruth Campbell and Irene Wilson and brothers Jack and Walter Lambke. Sisters-in-law, Gladys, Anne, Jean, and Doris Lambke. Brothers-in-law, Daniel Priebe, Reginald Campbell, Paul Schwartzentruber, Alfred O'Krafka and Harold Wilson. Clifford's family will welcome friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge on Thursday evening, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday afternoon, at 1 p.m., with interment following at Wanner Mennonite Cemetery.

Beloved wife of the late Clifford, for 66 years, loving mother of Donna (Dave) Bateman, Sharon (Wayne) Poole, Rick (Sharon), Jerry (Chris), Linda (Dave) Smith, Debbie, Judy (Jean) and the late Barbara Coughlin. She was a much loved grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Marie's family will welcome friends at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, on Saturday, from 12-2 p.m., with a funeral service following, at 2 pm.     Norman Lambke

    LONDON, Ont., Norman Lambke of RR 1, Hespeler, died today at Victoria Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was 75. Mr. Lambke, was born in Waterloo Township, near Kossuth, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lambke. He farmed in Waterloo and Wellington Counties for many years, retiring in 1962, when he moved to Wallace Township, near Listowel. He moved to the Hespeler area, in November, 1969. Surviving are his wife, the former Elsie Rieck; five sons, Howard, Orange, Calif., Clifford, Preston, Harold and Walter, Hespeler, and Jack, Gowanstown; six daughters, Mrs. Gladys Caron, and Mrs. Harold (Irene) Wilson of Preston, Mrs. Daniel (Dorothy) Priebe, Heidelberg; Mrs. Reginald (Ruth) Campbell, Hespeler; Mrs. Paul (Mary) Schwartzentruber, RR 2, New Hamburg and Mrs. Alfred (Grace) O'Krafka, Listowel; two brothers, Milton of RR 2, Preston and Oliver of Sheffield; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Anderson, Chilliwack, B.C. and Mrs. Ervin (Hattie) Greb, Preston, 36 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, Herbert. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener, after 7 p.m., Saturday, where Rev. Howard Schmitt, minister of Wanner Mennonite Church, will conduct the funeral, Monday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Wanner Mennonite cemetery.

    Henry Lambke

    PRESTON, Henry Frederick Lambke, 87, Preston resident for some 10 years, died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Greb, 541 Church St. South, Preston, early today. He bad been ill for two weeks with heart trouble. Mr. Lambke was born in Kossuth and in later years operated the farm on which he was born, after 28 years on the farm, he came to Preston, residing here four years, when he returned to farming for a number of years on the Huron highway. Retiring 15 years ago, he returned to Preston six years ago, making his home, with his son-in-law and daughter, since that time. He attended Zion United Church. His wife, predeceased him in 1940. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Anderson of Agassix, B.C. and Mrs. Ervin (Hattie) Greb of Preston; four sons, Norman Lambke, Preston-Hespeler highway; Herbert of Glen Allan, Oliver of Sheffield and Milton Lambke of RR 2, Preston. Twenty grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, also survive, The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, where the funeral will be held Saturday, at 2: 30. Interment will be in Wanner's Cemetery.

    PRESTON, May 29. Becoming suddenly ill, Saturday night, Mrs. Henry Lambke was removed to the Galt Hospital, where she died, at 5 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was in her 79th year. Born in Pennsylvania, she was six years old, when she came to Canada, with her parents, She lived in Preston many years, but had also lived for 12 years in the New Dun•dee district and for two years on a farm in Waterloo township. Surviving besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Anderson, Arcadia Valley, Alta. and Mrs. Alvin Schweitzer, Preston: four sons, Norman of Kossuth, Herbert of New Dundee, Oliver of North Dumfries and Milton of Preston; two sisters, Mrs. Moses Heckendorn of Breslau and Miss Ellen Otterbein of Preston, two brothers, Levi of Saskatchewan and Menno of Michigan. The funeral will be held, Friday afternoon, at 2 o'clock from the H. K. Stager Funeral Home, Preston.

    The death occurred of George Rieck, on Monday afternoon, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Norman Lambke. The late Mr. Rieck was in his 79th year. His wife predeceased him four years ago.

    Surviving are three sons and two daughters.

    Funeral services were held at the Cressman Mennonite Church, Breslau, on Thursday afternoon. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
