HIBBS, Walter Robert

Passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at the age of 88, at Grand River Hospital, surrounded by his family. Devoted father to Leo, Barbara 'Sissy' (Stead), Billy (Janet), Donna (Pete), Walter (Rhonda) and Connie (Eric). Loving 'Poppy' to Norman, Shelly, Wendy, Billy, Petie, Michael, Austin and Ashley. 'Poppy 2' to Shane, Paige, Cameron, Alex, Braydan and Landon. Walt will be forever remembered by his siblings; Maud, Floss, Mame, Don and Clyde, nieces, nephews and many friends. Walt will be rejoining Mary (2001) his wife of 53 years, after many years apart. Predeceased by his parents, James and Ellen (Mansfield), brothers Bill and Cecil, infant son, Walter and grandson Jeffrey (2008). Special thanks to the staff at Grand River Hospital Emergency, ICU2 and ICU for the compassionate care and assistance they provided. Private Funeral Services have taken place.
