    A-2-27 Wilhelm Knock The Last Will and Testament of Wilhelm Knock, late of the Township of Woolwich, Mason, who died on or about the 5th May 1859 at the Township of Woolwich, and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at the Township of Woolwich, was proved and registered in the said Surrogate Court, a true copy of which said Last will and Testament is hereunder written and that the administration of all and singular, the personal estate and effects…was granted to Conrad Stroh of the Township of Woolwich, Yeoman, the Executor named…

    …I, Wilhelm Knoch of the Township of Woolwich, Mason, being of sound mind and memory…do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament… I will unto my beloved wife Elizabeth the whole of my property that I have, during her natural life, and whatever is left after her decease is to be divided as follows:- I will unto my eldest daughter's , son Wilhelm Oswold, son of Philip Oswold as special legacy of twenty five pounds when he obtains the age of twenty one years and my beloved wife is not alive any more, the special Legacy is not to be paid until after wife's decease and in case the said Wilhelm Oswold does not live until he obtains the age of twenty one years, or until the decease of my beloved wife, my oldest daughter's son Henry Oswold, if he is yet alive is to have it, and my will furth[sic] is after the decease of my beloved wife, my property shall be appraised and divided in two equal shares, the one half, my eldest daughter and Catherine Oswold is to have and the other my deceased daughter's child (Catherine Opperteseuser) whose name is Catharine Opputeseuser and in case my grand child Catharine Opperteser[sic] should die before the decease of my wife or before she obtains the age of twenty one years and leaves no heirs, her half shall fall back to [the heirs crossed out] of my beloved eldest daughter's [children of Philip Oswold crossed out] I will finally all my personal property whatever after the decease of my beloved wife Elizabeth to my son-in-law Philip Oswold. In witness whereof I the said Wilhelm Knoch hereunto set my hand and seal and have appointed my trust and beloved and worthy friend Conrad Stroh to be the Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
