    Beloved husband of the late Clara Lukas (nee Manikowski). Dear father of Allan, Ronald and his wife Dianne, Roy and his wife Annette, all of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

    Predeceased by his parents; his daughter, Sandra; and his great-great-granddaughter, Sandra.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 pm today (Tuesday) continuing until Wednesday 10:30 am, when prayers will be said at the funeral home, followed by the funeral mass and committal service at St. Teresa's RC Church at 11 am, Father Peter Watters officiating. Interment Kitchener mount Hope Cemetery.

    Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario may be made as expressions of sympathy.

    Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.

    Parish prayers will be said at the funeral home tonight (Tuesday) at 7 pm.

    Mrs. Alexander Lukas

    Mrs. Alexander Lukas of 127 Strange St. died of a heart attack at her home Sunday. She was 66.

    Born the former Clara Minikowski in Buffalo, July 2, 1900, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Minikowski and had lived in Kitchener for the past 52 years. She was a member of St. John's RC Church.

    Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married in Kitchener, July 15, 1931; three sons, Allan, Ronald and Roy, all of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Wood, Breslau and Mrs. Stanley Orlowski, Kitchener, and six grandchildren.

    The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home Wednesday at 9: 30 a.m. followed by requiem high mass at St. John's RC Church at 10 a.m. Mgr. V. A. Priester will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.

    MRS. W. ROGOWSKI

    Following an illness of six weeks, Mrs. Walter Rogowski, 114 Strange street, died at St. Mary's Hospital yesterday in her 66th year. The deceased was removed to the hospital last Thursday. A member of Sacred Heart church, Mrs. Rogowski has been a resident of Kitchener for the past 20 years. Surviving are her husband, one son, Jerome Minikowski of Buffalo, three daughters, Mrs. A. Lukeszewska, Mrs. S. Orlowski and Mrs. F. Wood, all of Kitchener, five brothers, John White, Frank, Leo, Adam and William, all of Kitchener, two sisters, Mrs. John Rogowski and Mrs. Charles Kalpin, both of Kitchener; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning from the late residence to Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.

    Celebrated 50th Anniversasy of Marriage

    Mr. and Mrs. Joseph White of this city celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding on February 7. The occasion was obverved in the Sacred Heart Church by the singing of a solemn high mass the renewal of their marriage vows of half a century ago. The service was conducted by the Rev. Father Rogulski. Immediately following the mass, while they were kneeling at the alter they were presented with a gold-headed cane representing the staff of Aaron, and were given a bouquet of roses and a symbolic cross. After the service a reception was held at the Strange street home, and was attended by their many relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. White have 9 children, 30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. White is 70 years of age, while his wife is aged 68 years. They cam to this city from Poland in 1880.

    Joseph White - There passed away this morning in his 75th year Joseph White, 98 Strange Street. The late Mr. White had been in his usual good health until about six o'clock this morning when he was taken suddenly ill and he passed away by nine o'clock. He was an employee of the Rumpel Felt Company. Mr. White was a resident of this city for the past 45 years during which time he made many acquaintances. His death will be a giant shock to all who knew him. Surviving are his sorrowing wife, five sons and three daughters. They are: John, Frank, Leo, Adam and William all of this city, Mrs. Walter Rogowski, Mrs. John Rogowski, and Mrs. Charles Kaplin, all of this city. Two brothers, Frank and Michael of Kitchener and two sisters, Mrs. F. Lemanski, and Mrs. E. Lemanski of this city, also survive. The funeral will be held at the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial in the RC Cemetery.
