ANDERSON, Stanley - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 1, 1998, aged 77 years. Stan Anderson of Cambridge is the beloved husband of Grace. Dear father of Janice and her husband Keith Cummings of Hanover, John and his wife Annette of Guelph, and Sandy and his wife Holly of Waterloo. Loved grandfather of Andrew, Karey, Alex, Drew and Kate. Dear brother of Ruby Steel of Windsor, George Anderson of St. Thomas, Betty Schelhaas of Livonia, Michigan. Predeceased by one brother, Jim Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a former teacher at Glenview Park Secondary School and Southwood Secondary School where he was instrumental in the building of the Waterwheel at Churchill Park, Southwood's project to commemorate Canada's Centennial year. He was also a past president of the Galt Rotary Club. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, on Monday, May 4, 1998 from 12: 00 p.m. (noon) until the time of service. Service of Remembrance will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1: 30 pm. With Rev. John Hibbs officiating. Cremation has already taken place. If desired, remembrances made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation - Medical Day Care or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
