    BEWICK, Alexander - At the South Waterloo Hospital, Cambridge (Galt), on Thursday. May 9, 1974, after a lengthy illness, Alexander Bewick of 1122 Doon Village Rd., Kitchener, aged 91 years; born in the Ukraine, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bewick; a resident of the Twin City area for the past 56 years; formerly employed at the Glebe Furniture Co. and the Buffalo Sled Co.; husband of Donna Bewick; father of Anne (Mrs. Ralph Myers) of Bloomingdale, Mary (Mrs. Ralph Smith) of Fort Myers, Fla., Doris (Mrs. Stewart Domm) of Cambridge (Galt), Stella (Mrs. LaVerne Hurst) and Alice (Mrs. Adam Kroh), both of Kitchener, William of Palmerston and John of Kernble, Ont.; brother-in-law of William Bewick of St. Jacobs; Mr. Bewick was predeceased by a brother, Frederick; 21 grandchildren a n d three great-grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service in the chapel Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Stanley D. Gibson officiating. Interment in the Doon Presbyterian cemetery. The family will be in attendance at the funeral home from 2 to 4: 30 and 7 to 9, both on Saturday and Sunday.
