BOWIE, Donald Oliver - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on February 13, 2007. Donald Bowie, a lifelong resident of Galt, the beloved husband of Audrey (nee Elmes) of Cambridge. Dear father of David, Allen and his wife Arlene and Bruce and his wife Elspth. Loving grandfather of David, Andrew, Donald, Stephen, Michael, Daniel and Heather Allen and her husband Robin and five great-grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by his daughters-in-law Betty Howie and Kaye McLeod. Predeceased by his brother James and his sister Mary Lois Miller. Mr. Bowie is a retired employee of Sheldon's Engineering after 31 years of service. He was a Master of Alma Lodge A.F.AM No. 72, past District Deputy Grand Master, district of Waterloo in 1972, Past principal of Royal Arch Masons, Waterloo Chapter No. 32 and a Member and Elder of Knox's Galt Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St.; Cambridge, www.couttsfuneralhome.com (519-621-1650) on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at Coutts Funeral Home on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In his memory, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.

BOWIE, Audrey - At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, May 23, 2008, at the age of 90 years. Audrey Bowie (nee Elmes) a lifelong resident of Galt. Beloved wife of the late Donald Bowie of Cambridge. Dear mother of David, Allen and his wife Arlene, Bruce and his wife Elspeth. Loving grandmother to David (Rebecca) and Andrew, Donald, Stephen, Michael, Daniel, Heather Allen (Robin) and six great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Howie Elmes (Gerarda) also lovingly remembered by daughters-in-law, Betty Bowie and Kaye McLeod. predeceased by her siblings, Reg, Ted, Al, Len and Edna. Audrey was an active member of Knox Galt Presbyterian Church, and longtime member of the Women's Auxiliary. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. In memory of Audrey, donations may be made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
