McLANE, James Wallace

Passed away on Friday, January 16, 1987, at the Mississauga General Hospital. James McLane of 3650 Kaneff Cres., Mississauga, in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Mary Clark. Dear father of Heather McLane of Mississauga; James of Ajax; John of Bowmanville; Gregory of Ajax. Dear brother of Alice (Mrs. Robert Hallway) of Scarborough; Amy (Mrs. Gordon Sickle) of Cambridge. Also survived by five grandchildren. Mr. McLane was born in Galt on March 30, 1921 and had been a resident of Mississauga, for the past five years and was retired from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. A member of the loyal Canadian Legion, Branch 121 and had served in the Air Force for five years. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., where the family receive friends on Saturday evening, from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 19, at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Gordon Griggs officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
