FRANK, Gertrude "Gertie" - Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the age of 73. Loving mother of Lloyd Frank and his wife Joyce of Milton and Lisa Frank and her husband Greg Blundell of Kitchener and the late Randy. Nanny and Grandma to Paige, Signy, Siobhan, Cody, Casey, Cooper and Cayla. Dear sister to Marjorie LeGare, Jean Thornley, Anne Eckert and Sheila Battler (Chuck) all of Kitchener. Predeceased by brothers, Sandy, Ignatius and Lloyd Woods and sister, Grace Suchostowsky. Cremation has taken place. Gertie's family will receive relatives and friends from 9: 30-10: 15 a.m. Saturday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 10: 30 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008. In lieu of flowers donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
