At the Cambridge Country Manor on Friday, January 3, 1997, in her 88th year. Evelyne (nee Harrison), born the 15, of September 1909, is formerly of Aberdeen Road South, Cambridge, beloved wife of the late Robert McClurkin (1980). Born in Maryfield, Saskatchewan, the youngest of 11 children born to Thomas & Fanny Harrison, who emigrated to Canada from Sheffield, England, in 1903 and farmed in Maryfield, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by 9 older brothers and sisters and survived by 1 sister, Mae Frederick of Defiance, Ohio. Mother of David Thomas McClurkin and his wife Gladys of Waterloo, Robert Harrison McClurkin of Cambridge and Mary Elizabeth Hogan and her husband Paul of Toronto. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. She was a member of Westside Gospel Chapel, Cambridge. Her faith and service to God was the cornerstone of her life. Friends will be received at COUTTS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Saturday (today), from 7 - 9 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday January 6, 1997, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Mount View Cemetery.
