ZINI, Melina

Passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Melina Zini, 84 years of age, beloved wife of the late Francesco Zini; loving mother of Emilia Zini of Florence, Italy, and Yvonne Zini Gardner (Gary) of Oakville. Cherished grandmother of Michela Lanini, Fabio Lanini, Chloe Gardner and Cole Gardner; dear sister of Tino Lombardo and Amalia Lombardo. Also survived by her nieces and nephews in Italy and New York. Melina had worked for Hostess for many years. She was also a long-term member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Her family will welcome friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m., with Vigil Prayers, at 8: 30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning, at St. Mary's Church, 16 Cooper Street, Cambridge, on Thursday morning, at 9: 30 a.m., with interment, following at New Hope Cemetery.
