    At Westminster Hospital, London, on Thursday, Dec. 9, 1971, Roy Edward High, in his 55th year, of 87 Alison Ave., Galt, beloved husband of Ada Andrews and dear father of Paul, Daniel, Leslie, Larry and David, all at home: dear brother of Les, Elton, Clayton, and Danny all of Alberta, Alfred of B.C., Cora, Clara and Abigail. Mr. High was predeceased by one son, Emery. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew St., Galt, where funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. Interment in Mountview cemetery, Galt.

    ZIMMERMAN-HIGH, Ada Marie (nee Watson)

    Passed away peacefully, at St. Andrew's Terrace, on October 9, 2008, in her 83rd year. Ada was a retired employee of Newland's Textiles. Beloved wife of the late Albert Zimmerman and the late Roy High. Dear mother of her High boys, Paul from New Brunswick (wife Nancy), Dan (wife Marg), Les (wife Carol), Larry (wife Sherry) and Dave (wife Joan). She will be sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Ada was also the beloved step-mother to the Zimmerman family: Shirley Near, Pat Swan, (predeceased by Donald, Joyce and Laurie) and to all their families. Ada was the sister of Mary (Jim Hesketh) and predeceased by May, Dorothy, Annie, Roy and Lawson. Thanks to a special nephew, John Andrews, who we are deeply indebted to and a special friend for over 60 years, Nettie Ringler. A very special thanks to the staff at St. Andrew's Terrace, who treated our mother like a queen. Thanks to the late Eleanor Barron, for her great generosity and compassion. Mrs. Zimmerman is resting at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, where friends and family will be received on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at 10: 30 a.m. with Yvonne Alcock officiating. A private family interment, will be held at the Mount View Cemetery.
