VREELAND, George

Passed away at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at the age of 82. Loving husband of the late Isobel Vreeland. Beloved father of Barry (Maureen) of Cambridge, David (Ann) of P.E.I. and Janice Radke (David) of Waterloo. Cherished grandfather of Carrie Mage (Peter), Jason (Amanda), Wesley, Mathew and great-grandfather of Jade and Amber Vreeland and Abigail and Evelyne Rae Mage. George is survived by his sister, Surlena Lovegrove in Phoenix; brothers; Gordon (Arlene) Collett in London, Charles (Phyliss) in Crediton, Ernie in Peterborough and Ernie (Helen) Williams in Petrolia. Predeceased by Herbert and Mary Copeland (nee Collett). Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, tonight (Thursday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at 11 a.m. Canon David Bowyer, officiating.

Of Samuelson Street, Cambridge, at her residence on Friday January 29, 1993, in her 64th year. Beloved wife of George Vreeland and dear mother of Barry and his wife Maureen of Cambridge, Dave and his wife Ann of P.E.I., Janice (Mrs. David Radke) of Kitchener. Also survived by her sisters; Evelyn Armitsteari of Edmonton, Ada Finkle of Toronto and her grandchildreren, Carrie, Jason, Wesley and Matthew. Mrs. Vreeland is predceased by her sisters; Irene and Alice and a brother, William. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dudas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, on Monday evening (today), from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral and Committal Service will take place from the Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, February 2, 1993, at 2 p.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery Cambridge.
