    Peacefully at Telfer Place, Paris, on Wednesday, November 9, 2004, in his 84th year. Gus van Wyk, formerly of Cambridge (Galt), was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Hendrika, his dear children, Jack (Pam) Van Wyk of Cambridge and Ineke (Rick) Brethauer of Cambridge and loving grandchildren Carolyn and Lynda Brethauer, Ian van Wyk, and Sheena (Shane) Hahn. Brother of Jenny, Koos, and Rie, all of Holland. Predeceased by a brother Jan. Gus was a retired employee of Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro and a longtime member of Forward Baptist Church. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 66 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Saturday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral servives will be conducted at Forward Baptist Church, 455 Myers Road, Cambridge on Sunday, November 14, 2004, at 3 p.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
