    MRS. AMY JOHNSON

    M rs. Amy Johnson, 50 Chalmers Street, South, died Sunday, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. She was 86. Born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, on February 4, 1888, the former Amy French came to Canada in 1921, settling in the city of Galt. She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, the Catholic Women's League, and the Altar Society. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her husband, Tony in 1958, and by one brother and one sister. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Frances Cervi of England and Mrs. Mary Louise Bugdale of Cambridge. Mrs. Johnson was resting at the .Coutts. and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, until Tuesday morning. A funeral mass was held at St. Ambrose Church at 11 a.m. Interment followed at Mount View Cemetery.
