At the Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, December 17, 1997, in his 83rd year. Ken Kent of Mt. Pleasant, Ontario, is the beloved husband of Ruth (nee Tease). Dear father of Ruth Anne Halliday of Brantford, Jim and his wife Judy of Dundas and Jane and her husband Wayne Rayner of Mt. Pleasant. Loved grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 sisters; Rosie Ward and Dora Jones. Mr. Kent was a life long member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cambridge. Friends will be received at LITTLE'S FUNERAL HOME, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge, on Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, on Saturday, December 20, 1997, at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Andrew Paulsen officiating. Interment to follow, in Mount View Cemetery.

Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday, December 6, 1998, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Leslie Kent (December 1997). Loving mother of Ruth Anne Halliday of Mattawa, Jim and Judy Kent of York and Jane and Wayne Rayner of Mt. Pleasant. She is survived by eight grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Cora Preston, Helen Caskinette, Bruse and Maurine Tease, Betty Tease, Alan Sheldon. Predeceased by Jack Preston, Robert Tease, Mary Tease and Betty Sheldon. Friends will be received at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, on Thursday, December 10, 1998, from 12 noon, until 1 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Andrew Paulsen officiating. Interment to follow, at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
