At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, March 26th 1989, in her 72nd year. Maria Leal of 28 Benn Drive Cambridge, beloved wife of the late Manuel Gomes (1958), dear mother of Manuel and his wife Elizabeth Gomes of Cambridge, John and his wife Aldina Gomes of Azores, Jose and his wife Fatima Gomes of Cambridge, Maria (Mrs. Jose Leite) of Cambridge, Isaltina (Mrs. Anthony Gomes) of Azores and Rosa (Mrs. John Martins) of Cambridge. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street Cambridge, where friends will be received on Monday and Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Elgin Street Cambridge, on Wednesday, March 29th 1989, at 10 a.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
