HESPELER, A lifelong resident of Hespeler district, Gordon McKay, 69, of 39 Bergey St., died today at his home, after a lengthy illness. Mr. McKay was born in Puslinch Township, April 13, 1890. A carpenter, he was employed at Domittion Woollens and Worsteds Ltd. and Whitehall Foundry. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and was active in the Hespeler branch of the Canadian Legion. Surviving are his wile, the former Valentyne Mackenzie; two sons, G. V. and William of Hespeler; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Margaret) Sklar of Kitchener, Mrs. Harold (Jean) Harniek of London, Ont.; one brother, Neil of Edmonton; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Rynard of Zephyr, Mrs. William Lang of Guelph, Mrs. Jean Sharpe of Portland, Ore. and nine grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Christine Jones, predeceased him. The body is at the Stager-Nelson Funeral Home, Galt street, Hespeler, where the funeral will he conducted, Friday, at 2 p.m. Rev. William Weir of Brampton will officiate. Burial will be in Hespeler Cemetery.
