Miss Lenna Knapp

GALT, Miss Lenna Myrtle Knapp, 67, of 47 Oak St., died Saturday at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. She was a teacher at the Galt Collegiate here, for about 30 years. Miss Knapp was born at Merrickville, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Knapp and had been a Galt resident since 1914. She was a milliner before becoming a home economics teacher at the collegiate. She retired two years ago. She was a member of Wesley United Church and the Woman's Association of the church. She was interested In flower gardening and was a member of the Galt Gladioli Society. Surviving are one brother, J. Stanley Knapp, RR 7, Galt; and two sisters, Miss Elizabeth Knapp, with whom she shared a home, and Mrs. Cecil (Gertrude) Barbour of Wellesley. The body is at the Little Funeral home, Galt, where the funeral will be conducted, Tuesday, at 2 p.m., with Rev. L. R. Ballantyne officiating. Burial will follow in Mount View Cemetery, here.
