Mrs. Pearl Humphrey

GALT, Mrs. Pearl Humphrey 69, of Sheffield, died Tuesday at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt. The former Pearl Culham, she was born July 26, 1890, in Sheffield. She lived most of her life In the Sheffield area, except from 1913 to 1937, when she lived in Driver, Sask. She was a member of Sheffield United Church, where she taught Sunday School, for 50 years and sang in the church choir. She was a member of the Missionary Society and the Women's Institute. Her husband, Raymond J. Humphrey, died April 3, 1954. Surviving are two sons, John of Driver, Sask. and James of Sheffield; two daughters, Mrs. George (Alice) Sarre of Kitchener and Mrs. Rae (Mary) Langston of Toronto; two brothers, Milton of Galt and James of Sheffield; one sister, Mrs. Howard (LaVelle) Jenkins of Galt; 15 grandchildren. One brother predeceased her. The body is at Coutts Funeral Home, Galt, where the funeral will be conducted, Friday, at 2 p.m., by Rev. Victor Wilkinson. Interment will be in Mount View Cemetery.
