Of Benn Drive, Cambridge, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, October 8, 1996, in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Maria (Leal) Leite and dear father of Jose and his wife Connie of Cambridge, Carlos and his wife Noelma of St. George, Jack and his wife Sue, Herb and his wife Helen, Maria Morais and her husband Emanuel and Manny Leite, all of Cambridge. Also survived by three brothers and three sisters and fifteen grandchildren. Resting at the CORBETT FUNERAL HOME, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday (today) and Friday, from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, on Saturday, October 12, 1996, at 9: 00 a.m. Interment in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.

LEITE, Maria Leal (nee Gomes)

Suddenly, at her residence, in Cambridge, on Monday January 16, 2012, at the age of 73. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jose Leite (1996). Cherished mother of Jose (Connie), Carlos (Noelma), Jack (Sue), Herb (Helen), Maria Morais (Emanuel) and Manny. Special grandmother of Amanda, Melinda, Brandon, Chelsea, Bradley, Hailey, Jennifer, Diane, Matthew, Melissa, Andrew, Brittany, Breanne, Kayla, Taylor, Mackenzie, Cole, Cameron, and Chloe as well as her two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jeffery. Maria will also be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, January 19, 2012, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Elgin St. S., on Friday, January 20, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery.
