    LINDSAY, Clare

    Passed away at his residence of Stirling Heights, Cambridge on Monday, December 6, 2004, surrounded by his loving family, free at last from his pain and suffering these past years. Loving and devoted husband for the last 58 years, to Laurene Lindsay. Loving father of Ron Lindsay of Orillia and Darlene Robinson and her husband Allan of Cambridge. Cherished grandfather of Jason Robinson and his wife Kim of Cambridge, Jaclynn Henry and her husband John of Prescott, Bryce Lindsay of Orillia and Sarah Lindsay of Paris. Sadly missed by daughter-in-law, Pearl Lindsay of Paris. Dear brother of Olive Pumfrey and her husband William of Cambridge. Predeceased by his parents. John and Ethel Lindsay. Clare retired from C.N. Weber Ltd. in Kitchener and previous to that had worked for many years at Westinghouse. Clare was a member of St. Andrew's Galt Presbyterian Church and a past member of the Probus Club. There will be no funeral home visitation as cremation, has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Corbett Funeral Home.

    Formerly of 26 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, April 4, 1991, in his 98th year. Beloved husband of Pearl Ottley and dear father of Clare and his wife Laurene and Olive (Mrs. William Pumfrey) all of Cambridge, dear brother of Wilbert Lindsay and Myrtle Sholdice both of Manitoba. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother, Earl and his first wife Ethel May Carr. He had been a resident of Cambridge, for 41 years. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where friends will be received on Friday (today), from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral and Committal Service will .be held from the funeral home chapel, on Saturday, April 6, 1991, at 2 p.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery Cambridge.

    Passed away at Freeport Hospital on Friday, January 5th, 1973, Ethelmae Carr, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Jack J. Lindsay and dear mother of Olive (Mrs. William Pumfrey) of Cambridge (Galt) and Clarence of Cambridge (Galt). Also surviving are five grandchildren. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew's Street, from Saturday, at 2: 00 p.m. Funeral and Committal service will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Monday, January 8th at 2: 00 p.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
