Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, January 22, 2009, at the age of 84. Loving wife of Manuel. Cherished mother of Liduina and her husband Francisco Vieira. Special grandmother of Lillybelle and her husband Nelson Medeiros, Frank Vieira and great-granddaughter, Jade Medeiros. Godmother of Eduarclina Silveira of California, Antonio Medeiros of Thunder Bay, Ontario and Gloria Silva of Azores, Portugal. Maria will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Filomena Medeiros, Manuel Medeiros of California, Antonio Medeiros (Maria), Henrique Medeiros (Natalia) and Rosa Bernardo (Jose). Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home chapel, at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge, on Monday, January 26, 2009, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
