It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon announces his unexpected passing on November 4th in his 61st year. He will be forever missed by his wife Sherry (nee O'Handley), parents Phil and Joan, brother Dan (Ellie), sister Karen (Mike) Cardillo, daughters, Elizabeth, Amy and Amber (Kyle) Langille. Truly admired by his grandson Charlie. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Gordon was an employee of Jacox Harley Davidson and an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Family will receive friends at BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road Cambridge on Wednesday, November 9th for memorial visitation, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. Mass to follow at St. Clements RC Church at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Parklawn Cemetery.

SQUIRES, Joan Helen

Surrounded by her loving family, Joan Helen Squires passed away peacefully, on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the age of 83. Kind and generous, Joan was a loving wife and mother, who always put her family first. She was also a skilled business woman, owning and operating The Squires in Preston, and Bridal Village in Cambridge and Breslau. Joan will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her husband, Philip Squires, son, Daniel Squires (Ellie), daughter Karen Cardillo (Mike), grandchildren Jeffrey Squires (Maria), Amy O'Gorman (Jeff), Matthew Squires (Kirsten), Tracy Mosher (Ian), and Elizabeth Squires, and seven much-loved great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Gordon Squires (2016). Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Clements Church (745 Duke St., Cambridge), on Thursday, July 19th at 11 a.m. A private family interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. www.barthelfuneralhome.com

O'HANDLEY, Russell

Peacefully, at his residence on Monday, April 25, 1994, Russell O'Handley of Dundas St., Cambridge, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of June O'Handley and dear father of Russell of Ripley, Brian and his wife Judy and Sherry Gatten (nee O'Handley) all of Cambridge. Also survived by his brother, Mike and his wife Mary of Toronto, his sister, Olive McCormick and her husband John of Nova Scotia and his grandchildren Russell, Angela, Mark, Rebecca, Steven, April, Crystal, Amy and Amber. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and one sister, all of Nova Scotia. Mr. O'Handley was a former employee of Christie Bread for over 24 years and he recently retired from Allen-Bradley. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, on Wednesday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Chalmers St., Cambridge, on Thursday, April 28, 1994, at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
