MERCER, George P.

At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, August 9th, 1992, in his 71st year. George was a retired employee of Walker Exhaust. Beloved husband of the late Muriel (1986), dear step-father of Edmund, Margaret, Gary, William, Vera, Deborah and Helen, all of Cambridge. Brother of Leo, Bill and Cecilia, all of Cambridge and Loretta of Bell Island, Nfld. Loving grandfather of eighteen grandchildren. Predeceased by three sisters, two brothers and one grandson. Mr. Mercer is resting at the COUTTS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m., with Father Robert Hetu officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
