BETTENCOURT, Manuel Vieira

Of Spiers Crescent, Cambridge, at his residence on Monday, December 7th, 1992, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Maria Jacinta Bettencourt and dear father of Herbert and his wife Zelia, Maria (Mrs. Manuel Riveiro), both of Cambridge, Maria Silveira and Elvira (Mrs. Feleciano Silveira), both of San Diego, California. Also survived by a brother Jose Bettencourt of the Azores, his sisters Maria Bettencourt, Almeirinda (Mrs. Jose Rosa), Palmira (Mrs, Joao Rosa) all of the Azores and Alzira (Mrs. Lino Neves) of San Jose, California, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son-in-law, Jose Silveira. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of Fatima Church, Elgin Street St., Cambridge, on Thursday, December 10th, 1992, at 11:00 a.m., with Father A. Cunha officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
